D.C. Team Visits The White House!
Saturday October 16th 2010 the Girls For A Change D.C. team (Doorways for Women and Families) had the honor of visiting the White House as part of a White House Gardens and Grounds Tour!

Girls For A Change launched its first programming in Richmond, VA in October 2008 as part of our National Tour. In four days, more than 1,000 girls in Richmond participated in Change Your World Trainings learning about social change and how to take action in their community. In partnership with Communities in Schools of Richmond and Richmond Public Schools, eight Girl Action Teams will start in January 2009.
